Kas Animalfriends

It is a pity that Kas is a very small town, and there is no place for all the animals. Therefore a lot of dogs have been caught and put into the Kas dog sanctuary. Most of them will never be let out again and have to live their lives inside the fences.

There are different areas for male,female and puppies. We need to finish the new building which the Mayor has paid for to make a surgery where the vets can treat the animals and we can store medicines, any donations would be greatly appreciated.

In the feed room there is a large fridge with offal from the nearby abattoir and a small room filled with bread.There are sometimes sacks of dried dog food supplied by 'Animal friends of Kas'. Although our dogs do not go hungry,more money is needed for more dried food,especially when there is no bread or meat available.

It is lucky for the dogs, that there are a lot of animal friends in Kas, who do the best they can for the animals. They help voluntarily in the dog-pound, carrying out cleaning duties, treating and grooming the dogs, but most importantly they give some attention and love to the dogs. Something the dogs really need. They do everything they can but more help is always needed.
